1939 Seagrave

This Seagrave fire engine from Noank, Connecticut, has had the engine replaced in the 1990's with a modern Mitsubishi 6-cylinder Diesel engine and automatic transmission. We have rebuilt the Diesel engine fuel pump due to 2 stuck plungers and the engine not running. Now it runs excellent. The fire department retains the original engine and transmission and hopes to reinstall the original drive line in the future.
