1930 American LaFrance 200 Series

Hartford, CT

This is my personal fire engine which I take to shows and drive around the area on a regular basis.  I rescued this truck from a carriage shed just north of Hartford where it originally served at engine #8 (car 41) from 1930 to 1974.  It was retired and sold at auction.  Several people owned it over the years and it was taken to parades until 1998 and then left in the carriage shed.  We pulled it out February of 2022 and it was on the road in May of that year.
