1927 Seagrave Suburbanite

Woodbury, CT

This firetruck was finished in 2017 and was featured in the June 2019 issue of Hemming's Motor News Classic Car magazine. This was a complete, frame-off restoration including, real leather seat with horse hair padding and all hand painted gold leaf and lettering. The truck is currently back home at the Woodbury, CT fire department.

Update 04/30/2023:  During the original restoration process the customer elected not to rebuild the continental E603 flat head engine as it was running well.  However in the time since the engine started to show its age and an old hairline crack started to grow in the water jacket and it was brought back for a complete rebuild.  The engine is currently waiting re-assembly and should be back on the road in May of this year.
